High Chieftain Horus by Taddle High Chieftain Horus by Taddle
High Chieftain Horus is the leader of the Garuda Tribe, a community of fighting Pokemon that settle deep within the high mountain forests. The tribe is archaic in its ways, where status is determined by strength and contribution. Those borne of the original family are granted no higher privileges than others, everyone equally earning their positions through hard work, loyalty and trust. Their view on the world is simplistic; a deep reverence and appreciation to the environment and the resources it provides, with no greater ambition than to seek the pinnacle of their physical and mental prowess. The Garuda are quite well-known for breeding some of the strongest warriors around, and many Pokemon make the journey to their settlement to be trained in their ways.

Somewhat of a controversial figure, as Horus is not of the Garuda family bloodline and leaders had thus far had been war chieftains. Though as the tribe grew from its savage history to a far more civilized group, it elected to adapt a leader than can advance the tribe in ways other than fighting, and no one excelled better at it than Horus. He is a lover of the arts, of culture and tradition, of seeking understanding and truth and knowledge beyond the lands of their abode, and encourages the tribe to do the same. Above all, Horus is deeply connected to the spiritual world, rumored to a point where he can actually see spirits (in the form of auras). Of course, while being a Garuda leader is more than just being the strongest, Horus has proven himself to be a sufficient protector and a revered warrior, wearing the remnants of his foes as trophies of his conquests.

An NPC idea I wanted to throw out there. This is the same tribe Garuda Ra is from. While mostly made up of Pokemon of the Blaziken line, it does feature an array of other Pokemon (fighting types), though few of them serve very important roles in society, while others are there simply to be trained as warriors.

I may supplement this eventually with the two other chiefs (I got tired coloring Horus and didn't feel like finishing the other two.)

Holy shit, I just found this and this is too weird.

My Blaziken that I've had since my first playthrough of Pokemon Ruby is named Ra.

And the Blaziken I got in SoulSilver from Steven is named Horus!

I called the second one Horus because he was supposed to be Ra's successor.

Well, they are based on mythological figures, so wouldn't be too surprised. A lot of people actually name their Pokemon after gods and stuff. Ra came more about during my anime phase (Winged Dragon of Ra and all that), and Horus subsequently after researching Egyptian mythos. XD

So if Horus is a Blaziken. Does that make Sobek a Feraligator or Krookodile?

This is possible! I would lean more towards Feraligatr personally.
